Renting a ship in Berlin means two very different things. Most results for “boat rental” are small self-drive boats and rafts on the lakes outside the city. What we offer is a passenger ship with a licensed captain and crew, chartered for your group alone, sailing through the centre of Berlin on the River Spree.
You decide the date, the pier and how long you want to be on the water – three hours minimum, any length after that. The charter price covers the ship, the crew, the on-board equipment, logistics and cleaning. Catering, drinks, music and decoration are planned with you and listed separately in your quote, so you only pay for what your event needs.

All prices net, plus 19 % VAT and the €100 mooring fee. With 120 guests on MS Lex that is €18.75 per person for three hours including the mooring fee; with 275 guests on MS Lexator it is from €14. Your exact price per person is shown by the calculator.

Fewer than 40 people? For 5 to 16 guests we have the Lexara, a covered 13-metre boat with toilet that always sails with our skipper. Bring your own food and drinks; details on the Lexara page (German) – or simply enter your group size in the form below.

Once you confirm, we settle menu or buffet, drinks, music and route – usually two to four weeks before the date.

Your guests come on board and the crew takes over. You look after your guests – we look after everything else.

Frequently asked questions
Where do the ships depart?
Our main pier is the Landsteg Uber Arena, Mühlenstraße 70, 10243 Berlin – a few minutes on foot from Warschauer Straße station (S-Bahn and U-Bahn). Luisenhain, Kaisersteg and Schillingbrücke are possible at no extra cost; Friedrichstraße (+€150) and Gotzkowskybrücke (+€250) cost a little more because of the longer approach.
What if it rains or gets cold?
The interiors are heated and covered, so the event goes ahead in any weather. In case of a storm warning the captain decides; we then offer you a new date.
How long can we charter the ship?
At least three hours; most groups book four. Each additional hour started costs €150 on MS Lex and €250 on MS Lexator (net).
Can we bring our own DJ or band?
Yes, by arrangement. Our club sound system (2 CDJ players, mixer) costs €200, one of our DJs €65 per hour. A microphone for speeches is available with the sound system.
